Fun Weekend with Friends

Since we are moved and somewhat settled, we finally got to have some dear friends over to catch up this past weekend. Saturday night the Bahn's came over and the kids all played so well together. Claire and Presley had fun doing make-overs on eachother. Sunday we had a great visit with the Silvey's, despite my poor planning for dinner....lesson learned the hard way...Guido's and Tim's are closed on Sundays!! Parker was very excited to get to play with OG and Annalyse and Paige were precious...they would just coo at eachother and hold hands....too sweet! We really enjoyed getting to spend time with both families!!!

Fathers Day 2010

We got to celebrate fathers day at the lake with my wonderful daddy on Saturday. We had such a great time...I love going to lake Tenkiller since that is the lake I grew up on. It just brings back so many good memories! We had a wonderful time on the boat and eating at Six Shooter. Thanks Daddy for teaching me so many things that made me who I am today.Some of my greatest memories with my dad are him teaching me to swim, how to play baseball, how to drive, taking us to the "beach" riding in the back of his truck on our beanbags, and just always being there when we needed him. Thanks so much for working so hard Daddy to always provide everything we needed!! I love you so much.

Sunday we headed out to see Papa. We had a yummy breakfast and just got to visit with him for a while. The kids love getting to spend time with him. Thanks, Papa for all you do. Then we headed home for a nice quiet relaxing evening since Dean had just gotten home from being gone for a week, he didn't want to go anywhere. We rented movies and went down to the pool for a while and Dean wanted to go pick up Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner and they were out of what he wanted...so our fathers day dinner consisted of ruffles and ranch dip, veggies, and oreos. Kinda Sad!! What mattered though was that we got to spend quality time with the most wonderful husband and father we could have ever asked for. He truly is the most kind, patient, loving dad in the world! Parker, Presley, and Paige have been blessed beyond measure to be given him as their Daddy. We love you so much Dean and appreciate how hard you work to provide for us and how no matter how much you have going on you always have more than enough time for us. We treasure every moment with you and think you are the greatest dad ever!! Happy Fathers Day!!

Presley's 1st Day of Dance

A friend told us about a three week summer dance program that Presley could do to see if she liked it before we signed her up for a full year. I am really glad we tried it, but I now know why most places don't let them start until age 3!! She was really excited and did good for about the first 10 minutes and then just decided she didn't want to do it and she cried to leave the remainder of the time. She was happy to see her friend Addison though. I am proud of you for trying Miss Presley and we will wait a year or so and try it again.

A Fun Week with the Armstrongs

Last week Dean had to be out of town again so our sweet aunt Teresa and our cousins Brooke and Danielle (Danuelle as Presley says) drove all the way from Kansas to stay the week with us. Presley loves when Teresa comes because she can't tell her no about anything and lets her play in her makeup. The kids had such a great time with the girls and we hoping we can talk uncle Mark into moving here! Thanks so much girls for all the help and great memories we made!!

Summer Fun 2010

We are already enjoying our summer so much. We have moved to a new neighborhood that has a pool and we have had so much fun swimming with our friends.Parker is a little fish!! He is officially swimming with no floaties or anything this summer. He is swimming under water for a pretty long way, doing flips into the pool, and is working on his dive. Presley loves pushing Paige around the pool in her floatie and so far Paige loves the water. We are also loving our new playset outside. It's going to be a great summer!

Off to the Rodeo We Go!!

Mal took Parker and Presley to the Lincoln Rodeo last week and they had a blast! They both got to ride a horse and have talked about it every since.

Mothers Day 2010

I had a wonderful Mothers Day this year. I can't believe I have been a mother for 4 1/2 years already!! My husband and children have been the absolute greatest gift from God. I was blessed with a wonderful mother who has always been there for me no matter what and has taught me what unconditional love really means. I hope to be just half the mom she was and always will be to me. I love you Mom, and am so blessed God choose me to be Parker's, Presley's, and Paiges mom.

Our Real Live Babydoll

We all love taking care of our real little babydoll!! I was afraid with them all being so close together she wouldn't get as much attention as she would need. Instead, we all fight over who gets to hold her, feed her, ect. I am so proud of how sweet the big kids are to her! She is loving some oatmeal with bananas by the way!!

Parker's preschool end of the year program

I am so behind on blogging since we have been moving!!! Parkers class had an adorable end of the year program last year where they sang songs about everything they did all throughout the year. It was precious and Parker did a great job performing. Pa and Nana came to watch and we let Parker choose where to go eat since it was his night and he choose Logans. We had a wonderful night.
