Round 2 of the Bday Celebration

This morning our big 3 year old woke up to his annual birthday breakfast of biscuits and gravy in bed. He of course had to open a couple of presents and then we headed to Gymboree for Olivia Graces birthday party, which was a blast! After the party Parker got to choose where he wanted to eat for dinner and he chose Outback. It was so yummy and he loved that they brought him a dessert with a candle and sang to him. I think he a great birthday weekend! We love you Parky and can't wait to see what the year of "3" is going to bring!

Oh Gee Now I'm 3!!!

For the past two months all we have heard is "oh gee, I'm about to be 3" from our little man. I can not believe our baby is 3!! We celebrated his birthday with all his friends and family at Chuck E Cheese yesterday and had a great time. He LOVES going to Chuck E Cheese but is afraid when Chucky comes out for some reason. Funny story with cake... before we even got out of the cake shop to pick it up Parker swiped his finger through the top of it to taste the icing. As if this wasn't bad enough, the top layer started falling over and Dean's wallet came flying out of a compartment on the dash of his truck and stuck right in the front of it! All we could do was laugh!!! Thanks to everybody who came to celebrate my birthday... I love you all!

Presley's 6 month checkup

Yesterday Presley got to have her fun every two month visit with Dr. Brent where he discovered her little right ear is infected. We just finished antibiotics about a month ago for her left ear so we hope this problem doesn't continue. She also had her shots and has ran a little fever, but seems fine. Her measurements were 26.5 inches long (90th percentile), 17lbs 2 ounces (75th percentile), and head circumference was 16.2 in (50th percentile). You are sitting up by yourself now, which makes mommy so proud of you, but a little sad because you are becoming more and more independent everyday. I just pray no matter how big and independent you become, you always need your mommy.

My Baby is 6 Months Old

I can not believe my baby is half a year old already! Where does the time go? You are such a precious little thing and such a happy baby. Some of the things you are doing are babbling "a bye bye" all the time, rolling everywhere, eating fruits and veggies, and sitting up still propped up; although Daddy loves to sit you up in the bed(for about 10 seconds) and watch you fall over. You love playing in your exersaucer, getting raspberries on your tummy, and playing peek-a-boo. You weigh about 17 pounds and are 26 inches long. You are wearing a size 3 diaper and mostly 9 months in clothes. You will never know how much joy you have brought to our lives.. we love you more than words can say.

Presley's 5 Months

I am adding a couple of pictures of Presley at 5 months since I haven't posted very many and she will be 6 months tomorrow! What a precious little 5 month old you are Lu-Lu. You started rolling over this month, eating baby food, and babbling a lot! You have said bye bye several times since yesterday. We are so proud of you and we love you more than the world!

Presley said her first word!!!

Tonight Dean, Parker, Cousin Malorie, and myself were all sitting on the couch playing with Presley when mommy got her to say her first word... bye-bye!! She said it four times, once to GG's voicemail.. sorry Nana she wouldn't say it for you. What a genius... it is two days from her being 6 months old.

Lil' Fashionistas

Tonight the kids were a part of Mondays Child fashion show honoring fashion week. They were adorable and they had their own little cheering section with Papa, GG, and Nana (Pa was out of town.) After the show Papa treated us all to dinner at Parker's favorite restaurant, Red Lobster. Thanks for coming to watch us strut our stuff... we love you guys and have the greatest grandparents in the world!

I need more than milk People!!

Since every time for the past week Presley has watched every single bite we have eaten in total desperation, we decided she is ready to start baby food! She is starting with green beans (thanks to Aunt Key) and she hasn't completely decided if she is a fan yet!
