Polar Express Train

We went to Branson a couple weeks before Christmas to ride the Polar Express Train again this year and to take the kids to The Christmas Dixie Stampede (where Dean and I got picked out of the audience to have stick horse race, very embarrassing)! We did win though! This year was a lot of fun because my entire family joined us. The kids all loved spending the weekend together and spending extra time with Pa and Nana.

Big Ceadar Lodge

We had a great little get away with the entire Morris clan right before Christmas. We went on a very cold, but very fun sleigh ride and then had our own little campfire where we made smores and drank hot chocolate. We had an awesome brunch the next morning before heading home that ranged from omelette's to crab legs! Of course, this was my favorite part! All the cousins loved a night together.

Annual Fayetteville Square Trip

Every year we go to the square with the Boyd's to see the Christmas lights. We usually go to eat at US pizza, but branched out to Hugo's this year. It was really cold this year, so we made it a quick trip! The kids still rode the camel, the ponies, and the carriage though. Every year we look forward to this!!

Annual cookie decorating party

Every since the big kids have been about 10 months old, we have gotten together for a little gingerbread cookie decorating party. The Boyd girls hosted it again this year and were such great hostess. The kids enjoyed decorating their cookies and playing with their friends and the mommies enjoyed keri's yummy chicken spaghetti and good company!!
