Yes, I know it is a little early for St. Patricks Day pictures, but Presley is going to be in the March issue ad for Dr Ward's office since she was born on St. Patty's day. We had to take the pictures early so they would be to them in time. She may have a little preferential treatment since Nana picks the kids! Of course we had to have one with big brother too! Also, a quick 10 month up-date on Miss Lou-Lou... she is doing great and learning new tricks everyday. She is letting go of the ottoman and taking a couple very quick steps to the couch, blowing kisses, and has learned to smash everything she eats in her hair...preferably bananas! Her favorite thing these days is to go to Parker's room to play. She will go set in the dark and play with his race car set and loves it! Whenever she is missing we know right where to look. She is 28.5 inches long and weighs 20.6 pounds. We sure love our little "hot mess"!

Children's Update
Today we went for our 6 month Children's follow-up for Presley and we got a great report! Her neurologist said she looks great developmentally..even a little above where she should be (of course Dean says she takes after him in that department, but I beg to differ!). She suggested we do a blood test to just check her Phenobarbital levels, which finding a vein in this child is impossible!!! We get to start tapering off her meds today and this process will take 8 weeks then we will be on no medications!!!! Please pray she responds well to this and does not start having seizures again! Thanks to everyone who has already been praying for our precious little girl. It is very scary and exciting at the same time to begin taking her off her medication, but we know she is in God's hands and he will take great care of her.
While we were there today Parker got his hand slammed in one of the double, steel doors really bad so we decided since everyone had a hard time at the Dr we needed a little fun so we headed to Chuck E Cheese. We met our cousins Abby, Avery, and Benjamin there so the kids had a great time playing.
Welcome Cailynn

Homebound
Since all the ice started Monday, we like everyone else have just been hanging out at home. We have had fun playing with the neighbors, taking lots of baths, playing dress-up, eating lots of chocolate chip cookies, and Presley has learned to and loves taking out the plug-in air fresheners all over the house! Needless to say our house doesn't smell as good as it once did. We have all enjoyed just getting to hang out together even with no electricity and freezing cold!!!

Christmas 2008
I am a little behind on blogging due to Presley being very sick. After 15 days of a fever between 102-104 and 3 trips to the doctor in 2 weeks, our wonderful friend and pediatrician has determined our precious baby started off with RSV and bronchiolitis then it turned into pneumonia. He has fixed her up and we are now 24 hours fever free!!! We are very grateful for all of your wonderful care as usual Dr B! Now, back to Christmas... it was great...it just passes too quickly! This year the only thing that Parker asked for or even mentioned wanting was a little black Batman car from Sam's. Santa was pretty pumped his list was so easy this year. Of course since he was so good (sometimes I wonder if Santa falls asleep when he is suppose to be watching) he got many other goodies as well. Pa & Nana and Papa & GG never fail to completely go overboard at Christmas either. Presley had a great 1st Christmas. She loves riding in her new "Tot-Rod" and I am sure she can't wait to get to take her first ride in her new big-girl car seat!! It won't be much longer!! The best part of Christmas though truly is getting to just hangout with family and make all those memories that will last a lifetime!
