4 Month Check Up

Paige had her 4 month (we are a little behind since she turned 5 months today) check up last week and everything looked great!! She weighed 14 lbs 4 ounces, 24.5 inches long, and her sweet little head is 16 inches. She is in the 4oth percentile in everything...she is just perfect!! We just started her on rice cereal last week and she LOVES it!! She grabs my hand everytime I feed her and helps me!! She also is starting to likes her little excersaucer and really LOVES her play gym mat. She rolled over from her back to her stomach for the first time last week (5/28/10) and has been doing it every since!! She is still sleeping all night and loves her bed and still so happy and content!! I love this baby girl more than words can say.

Making the Most of Our "Sick Day"

Wow, what a week it has been...Dean is out of town for the second week in a row, tornado watches, carbon monoxide scare which lead to waking up all three kids at 11:00 at night to go check into a hotel, being locked out of our house by the gas man, Parker sick with viral infection and running a 103 fever, Presley also running 103 fever with strep throat, and Paige having another upper respiratory infection. I guess it's true, when it rains it pours!! We are very thankful for our Mal Jo, Pa & Nana, and antibiotics!!

Paige -4 Months

My precious baby Paige is 4 months old today!! Gosh, I know it is so cliche to keep saying how quickly it goes by, but it really does!! She weighs 13 lbs now and is about 26 inches long. About two weeks ago she started sleeping through the night and this week she is officially in her bed and out of the swing!! We are so proud of her!! She has also become soooo content and easy this past month. She is now by far the easiest baby out of the three to put down for naps and bedtime. She has also become a serious thumb-sucker and will not take a pacie. Her little personality is just sooo sweet...she is so happy and smiley all the time. We are all enjoying every little second with this wonderful, perfect little gift from God.

Muffins with Mommy

This morning we went to the kids school for "Muffins with Mommy" for Mothers Day. It was so sweet and I also got the most wonderful gifts. The kids made me a beautiful flower pot, flowers out of their precious little hands, and Parker's class made adorable little books about their mommy's. I love mine because Parker said his mommy was 20!!! Presley immedietly found her Mrs Tracey and Parker had a ball runnung around with his little buddies. I am so blessed to be the mommy to these 3 wonderful babies!!!

Tulsa Trip

Last weekend we took the kids to Tulsa to the Zoo and the Aquarium. They had a wonderful time seeing all the animals, especially the sharks and the baby goat that was just born. They always LOVE staying in a hotel and getting to swim. This time Parker was swimming like a fish! He now jumps in the deep end with no life jacket and swims under water great!! Presley has no fear of the water either...she loves when daddy throws her in. It was a fun family weekend.

Presley's Tubes Round 2!!

Miss Presley got her second set of tubes in less than 10 months this morning. She did sooo good! Our only issue was she really wanted to eat something and of course she couldn't since she was having surgery. She ran up to the vending machine when we got there (at 4:45 am) and starting picking "nacks" she wanted and couldn't understand why we wouldn't get her anything. She finally said, "you not have no money daddy?" As soon as she woke up she was ready for "num-nums" and just wanted Mommy & Daddy and Pa & Nana to take turns holding her. She wanted to go to Cracker Barrel to eat so that is what we did. We are so proud of our little trooper!!!

Paige 3 Months

Wow, time is flying by!! Paige is already 3 months old. She weighs about 13 lbs and is about to outgrow all her 0-3 months stuff...it is very sad boxing it all up because unless God has another plan for us, we are finished will it. She is smiling, laughing, and cooing all the time. She still is not a fan of her bed and would much prefer to sleep in her swing. We usually start off in her bed, but end up in the swing. You do what you gotta do to get some sleep when you have three small children to take care of and keep up with!! She has discovered her sweet little hands and loves to hold on to her silky, my shirt, and anybody's hair she can find. Parker and Presley think it is so funny when she pulls their hair. I'm afraid we have a little thumb sucker on our hands. The past week when I put her down to sleep, she spits out her pacifier and finds her little thumb and goes to town sucking it until she falls asleep. Out of all my babies, she definitely seems to be the most lovey and wants to be held and loved on the most...which I don't mind, especially knowing she is probably my last!! Oh, I love this little girl more than life itself!!!
