Last night (Jan 7, 2010) at 6:07 the Morris family became a family of five!! Miss Paige Declyn made her debut weighing in at 8 lbs 2 oz and is 20.5 inches long. Once I dilated to a five I did what I always do and completely stopped having contractions so we started pictocin and broke my water and in 19 minutes went from 6 cm-10 cm. I only pushed about 5 minutes and our precious baby was here!!! She has lots of really dark hair and precious little dimples...she is just a little dumpling!! We think she looks a lot like Parker. We are just so thankful for another healthy baby!!!! We were happy that our wonderful doctor and nurse were on call and got to deliver. We are also very grateful to our WONDERFUL parents and to "Aunt Key" for taking such great care of our other two little angels...I don't know what we would do without you guys!! Paige says thanks to everyone who braved the 7 degree weather to come see her too!!

Happy 2010!!!
I can't believe it is 2010!! It was a nice surprise to wake up to all the snow this morning!!! After a very careful trip to Panera for bagels and hot chocolate, we got all bundled up to go out and play in the snow. We made a very pitiful, tiny snowman and had a snowball fight and the kids were ready for a hot bath. What a fun start to 2010!!!

Girl's Night/Paige's Babyshower
Lastnight the girls in my family all got together for a fun girls night and to throw Paige another babyshower. It was so much fun!!! Since Catfish hole is my favorite...that is what we had to eat..not real traditional, but very yummy!! The cake was so adorable and yummy too! We got lots of great gifts that will come in very handy and had such a great time just hanging out and playing games. I laughed so much I was sure I was going to go into labor!!! Thank you so much Mom, Jami, Granny, Nini, Mal, and Macie for such a fun night!! I love you guys. (Paige will be here before we know it...Monday I was dilated to 2 and 75 percent effaced!!!) We can't wait to meet you baby Paige!!!

Playing in the Snow & Making Snow Cream
The kids were so thrilled that it was snowing Christmas Eve night! They couldn't wait to play in it so they went out to make snow angels and collect snow for daddy's famous snow cream at 8:00 pm!! They were so cute and excited for the entire 5 minutes that they made it in the freezing cold snow. They loved getting to help daddy make the yummy snow cream. It was such a fun night making great memories with our babies...we are soooo blessed!!
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone once again. This year was the first year that Parker really got into Christmas, so it was so much fun! He counted down the days until Santa came. It was so sweet Christmas Eve we had been talking about the true meaning of Christmas and Parker said "well, that is so nice that Jesus gives us all presents on his birthday...we need to take him a birthday present." We told him that was a great idea and asked him how we could get it to him and he said we could take it to the Mall and give it to Santa and he could take it to him. (When he asked how Santa could see him all the time we had to come up with something quick, so we told him he hangs out Jesus and they are always watching him together.) I thought this was so precious and told him that next year we would take Jesus a birthday present and give it to Santa to take back to him. This may be a new tradition we start! Parker was the most excited this year about his new Toy Story car and Woody and his "Buzz Lighmare" costume. Presley still wasn't too excited about opening gifts, unless it was a baby doll. She LOVES baby dolls. Santa's gifts were pretty big hits...Parker got a trampoline for inside and Presley got a dollhouse...twice her size! They both have really enjoyed the recordable book of "twas the Night Before Christmas" that Pa & Nana gave them. They love hearing their voices and they listen to it over & over! They both enjoyed seeing all the Christmas lights and watching Christmas movies. We had such a great Christmas being with family and remembering what it is all about.
