Paige's First Branson Trip

Those of you who know our family, you know that we love to go to Branson any chance we get. This past weekend was the first weekend since Paige has born that everyone was healthy, so we decided we needed to get out of the house for a while and so we headed to Branson for the weekend. It was so much fun just hanging out with the family. The weather was great so enjoyed just being outside. We took the kids to see the horses at The Dixie Stampede and there was nobody there so the kids had fun rolling down the hill next to the building. We also did a little shopping and a lot of eating and swimming. Of course we had to do Build a Bear and order banana splits in the room... Parker's favorites!! It was a much needed break from taking care of sick kiddos!! Especially since the day we got back I started getting mastitis and all three kids started running fever and had horrible colds again!!!

Girls Skating Night

Our last celebration for Christy's 30th birthday was a girls night out to the skating rink...yes, the skating rink!! It was a blast...something none of us had done in years. What a fun time!! I love my girls!!

Parker's Day

Last Saturday was Parker's day with just mommy. He chose to go pick out his new "big boy" bed for the new house, go to Target for a new toy and a little summer clothes shopping, and to Maggie Moo's for ice cream. Then we got home he wanted to finish off our date with playing dominoes (this is what we do everyday while the girls take their naps) and of course we had to play a little baseball. He just amazes me with what a well-behaved (most of the time) little man he has become. He just melts my heart. He is always telling me he is so blessed to have me for his mommy. Oh, how I love this little boy and cherish getting to do the things he loves with him.

Paige- 6 weeks

I can't believe my baby is already 6 weeks old!! Time is going by way too quickly! She weighs almost 10 pounds already and is starting to get back to sleeping better since we got home from the hospital. She is sleeping about 4 hour stretches. She loves her swing...she has started staring up at the mobile and talking to it a little. She is smiling, loves being held, and is so curious about everything. I love watching her sit and look around trying to figure everything out. She is such a sweet, lovey baby... we truly are so blessed for this "surprise" baby!! We fall a little more in love with her everyday (if that is possible).

Happy 30 Christy!!!

Last Saturday night we went to Fast Lanes for a surprise party for one of my dearest friends to celebrate her turning 30!!! We had the best time!!! Brad did such a great time getting everything all together and keeping it a surprise. I love thinking back to everything Christy and I have been through. I think this is our 12th birthday to celebrate together. Friendships like this are hard to find, but last a lifetime! I love you girl...Welcome to the 30's!!!

Our New College Grad!!

We are so proud of daddy for finishing his bachelor's degree!! I know it wasn't easy to do while being the best daddy and husband & working full time to provide for our family, but he did it and we are so proud! The kids and I had planned a little celebration for him the night that Paige was admitted into the hospital, so needless to say it never really happened. The Kids made him a precious banner that said "we are so proud of our daddy" and we were going to make him his favorite meal...chicken enchiladas, and ordered a cake from Shelby Lynn's. I guess it's the thought that counts right??? Dean, we are so blessed to have such a hard working daddy and husband that makes us so proud. We appreciate all you do for us more than you will ever know. We love you so much!!
