Kiddo's Updates

Yesterday we went to see Dr Brent for our well checkups. They went pretty good...both girls do have ear infections again. We just finished antibiotics 2 days ago for ear infections, so I guess we are getting used to that news! Other than that, praise the Lord they are all 3 healthy!!! None of them were thrilled to have to have shots...my precious cousin Mal went with us and we decided we should have recorded the room when all 3 had shots at the same time and it could be used as a good form of birth control!!! Just so I will always remember here are their stats from their checkups...

Parker- 4 year check... 34 lbs (25 th percentile), 41.5 inches (50th percentile)

Presley- 2 year check... 22.5 lbs (almost 10th percentile), 34 inches (50th percentile)

Head (19.09 in)

Paige 2 month check...12 lb 1 oz (50th percentile), 23.5 in (60th percentile), Head 15.55 in (50th percentile)

Paige 2 Months

I am sooo behind this month... Paige is actually almost 11 weeks old now! Wow, time is flying! Not a lot has changed since I posted when she was 6 weeks except she is smiling, laughing, and squealing ALL the time now! She is such a happy baby, you just look at her and she smiles. She is still not sleeping through the night, but we are working on it. She weighs a little over 11 lbs and has so many precious little rolls!! I am loving and soaking up every little second of her!!! She has been the greatest "surprise"!!!

Presley's 2nd Birthday Party!!!

This year for Miss Presley's birthday we went to Joe's Gymnastics. She got to pick what kind of party she wanted, which was...you guessed it... a "tuptake" party!!! I love that instead of "happy birthday" she sings "happy tuptake"!!! She is soooo funny!!! When people would ask her what she wanted for her birthday, she would say..."um...tuptakes, diet coke, or muffins." That's my girl!!! Her favorite part of her party was the cupcake pinata. It was a fun party and we are so blessed beyond measure to have such amazing friends and family to celebrate with!!! Happy 2nd birthday baby girl...we love you more than you could ever know and we thank God for you everyday!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday, My Little St Patty's Baby

2 Years ago today God blessed us with our first precious little girl. She has been such a delight since the day she was born. She has the funniest little personality...she makes us laugh constantly! She has such a free spirit about her and loves being silly and making people laugh. Some of her favorite things to do are sing & dance, play "sout side", read books, eat "num nums", and curl up with her mommy or daddy at the end of the day with her "pappy and night-night" and sing songs. She loves going to Pa and Nana's on Thursday's. When its time to leave she always says "love you to the moon Pa & Nana. (Nana taught her to say that)..it's so sweet. Some of her favorite foods are "dog dogs" (hot dogs), cheese of any kind, peaches, eggs, oatmeal, cheese its, bananas, and crabby patty's. She really loves "diet doke" which sends her daddy into a frenzy! She did get to enjoy a diet coke for lunch on her birthday. She weighs 24 pounds and wears a size 24 months in clothes, size 6 shoe, and size 4 diaper. She didn't talk much at all for the longest time, I was kinda getting a little worried, but boy has she picked it up now! She has a pretty big vocabulary and talks like crazy now. I love when she says "see, I told you", because she is a climber and I am constantly saying Presley you are going to fall and almost every time she does and I say "see, I told you so now she says it all the time.

She has been pretty sick for the past week with a viral infection running 102-103 fever and yucky cold symptoms and yesterday was the first day she didn't have fever thank goodness!! I always make the kids breakfast in bed (biscuits & gravy, bacon, and eggs) but she didn't want that... she want donuts. So we began her day with getting a new bike and going to Daylight Donuts, then we headed to the ENT because she had been complaining about her ears hurting. He said her right one looked a little infected, but mainly they both just had tons of fluid behind her eardrum and had ruptured and pushed one of her tubes out. They were draining like crazy, which is a good thing. He started her back on her drops and an antibiotic. Since she didn't have fever we went a head and met Pa & Nana for a fun birthday lunch at Penguin Ed's and they brought her "tupctakes" aka cupcakes, and a fun "tuptake" game. When we got her home, she had a special delivery from Aunt Jami and Uncle Mike, Dallas, & Anastyn. It was a adorable dog and balloons. She loved it!!! Then for dinner we took her and Parker and met up with our dear friends Ashley and Jackson at Fun City. The kids had a great time playing together, we even made some new friends we hope to play with soon! It was a pretty fun birthday for a little girl who hasn't been feeling good. We are looking forward to her party Saturday. Oh, Miss Presley you will never how much joy you bring to our lives every single day...we love you more than the world!!!
