Happy Mothers Day

I just want honor my mom for being the greatest mother in the world. I truly don't know what I would ever do without her. She is such an amazing, strong, loving, hard-working woman! Thanks Mom for loving me and my family the way you do and just for being such a big part of our lives. You mean the world to me and are the greatest mom and best friend I could ever ask for. I love you so much and are honored to call you Mom.
My children are pretty fond of their GG too and love getting to spend time with her so much. We are so blessed to have both sets of Grandparents live within 15 minutes of us. Thanks GG for helping spoil our children...we love you!

I just have to brag on my sweet husband for a second since I know my kids are too little to be coming up with ideas for me on Mother's day. Dean always makes sure I feel so special and appreciated on this day which means so much to me. He and Jeff surprised Keri and I and booked us facials and massages at East meets West spa which was fabulous! I also got a new camera from the kids which I am so excited about and I got to enjoy a nice long bubble bath with a big Coke Zero and my new Us Weekly all alone with no children standing next to the tub begging to get in. I am so blessed for such a great man in my life and also for the two wonderful children God has blessed me with to even get to be able to enjoy this holiday. Thanks Dean, Parker, and Presley for loving me so much...you have no idea how much I love you.

Presley 13 Months

Presley is really to start to show her personality! She loves being the center of attention and knowing that everybody is looking at her. She is taking about 5-10 steps on her own and finally has a tooth! She loves reading books and playing peek-a-boo. She is the most lovey baby I have ever seen...she gives a mean bear hug! Her daddy is pretty sure she is saying I love you... which I have to say it does sound like she is! I love this little girl and I am so blessed she is my baby.

Parker 3 years & 8 months

Parker is such a hoot these days! I really enjoy hanging out with him all day and hearing everything he has to say. Right now my favorite things he says is he loves wearing shirts with "up-sleeves" aka short sleeves and and he hates his jeans to have "poke holes" in them. He is really into dressing up...football player, baseball player, a cowboy, Flash, Spiderman...you name it, he wants to be it! He has such a huge imagination. He also loves going to Branson to Silverdollar City and swimming in the indoor pool. He asks to go everyday. He has such a sweet little heart and I am so blessed to be his mommy.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

It is Parker's favorite time of year...time for baseball! That is all he talks about it seems like these days. We play baseball from sun-up til sun-down and he loves every minute of it. We have had a lot of fun with friends and family already at the Natural's games! Strike and Jake the dog have come up to visit us...which the kids have loved! (except Presley thinks she likes Strike better from a far.)

Happy Easter 2009

We had a great Easter weekend. We started off Friday going to the animal safari with Nana and ate dinner that night with Pa & Nana. The kids went ahead and got their cool Easter baskets from them too, which they loved! Saturday morning we went to see the Easter Bunny with Christy and Brycen. Parker loved the Bunny but Presley was terrified! She wanted nothing to do with him. After we saw the bunny we went to our cousin Aubree's 2nd birthday party and had an Easter egg hunt. We came home that night and made cookies and decorated our eggs. I'm not sure which Parker enjoyed more, making a mess with the dye or the chocolate! Sunday we headed to church and to GG and Papa's for lunch. We had lots of yummy food, got more fun Easter baskets and celebrated Avery's birthday. We were sad we missed my side's Easter dinner because they were at the same time and everyone was gone by the time we were headed there. We just came home to rest and recoup after our fun and busy weekend, but instead Presley took her first "real" steps so we were all so happy and cheering her on that's pretty much all we did the rest of the afternoon. Pretty cool she did it on Easter!!! Hope everyone had a great Easter!

Animal Saffari

Friday Nana took us and Jami and Dallas to the Gentry Animal Saffari. The kids all had such a great time seeing all the animals. It is so crazy how they just walk right up to your car and stick their heads in the window. Parker loved getting to help Nana drive. Presley was in ah of all the animals. She would point and scream to everyone she saw. Thanks for such a great, fun day Nana!

She Finally Said It!!!

It only took her 12 months to say it, but Presley FINALLY said Mama!!! I didn't think this day would ever come since Parker said it at 7 months and since she says dada, bye-bye, bite, and baba(bottle). Everytime I would try to get her to say Mama she would smile ear to ear and scream dada. I guess good things really do come to those who wait and wait and wait!
